Improved overall well-being
How does mindful eating work?
One-on-one counseling sessions uncover and address underlying emotional and lifestyle issues that trigger emotional eating.
We build into your daily routine a meditation practice and mindful eating, integrating the weekly content of each meeting, working on hunger awareness, fullness of the stomach, body satiety, taste satiety, what is driving cravings, triggers to eat and the cycles of emotional eating. Most of the exercises use mediation therapy with food so we can learn to eat different types of foods slowly, enjoying each bite and really trying to start to eat like a connoisseur, for quality and not quantity.
The mindful eating program is woven through all of our other weight loss programs so can be taken as a single program or you can match it with any one of our dietary protocols.
